The why
I'm a Physician Assistant, a four-time marathoner training for the NYC Marathon in November 2026, and someone who fell in love with running on trails, coastlines, and unfamiliar streets in cities I'd never been to.
For three marathons I trained alone. Then I hired a coach for Big Sur and shaved 28 minutes off my PR, finishing in 3:25. It wasn't just the splits or the workouts.
